Telehandlers, also called telescopic handlers, are similar to a forklifts, but have a boom, making them more like a crane than a forklift. On the end of the boom the operator is able to fit several attachments. Telehandlers are usually mounted on four-wheel chassis and equipped with telescopic booms that can reach lift heights of 50ft and up.
